Overview

In the not-so-distant future, Gooble Corporation has grown to immense proportions, and wields substantial influence on both a domestic and international scale. It has expanded far beyond its original purpose as a mere internet search engine, and now encompasses nearly all facets of worldwide economy. Gooble is your news, your job, your health care provider. Gooble is very nearly your own life.

By this time, Gooble co-founders Barry Phage and Serge Lin have grown old, and have been succeeded by the audacious Manfred Roberts. Roberts was, of course, not content with stagnating the growth of Gooble. He had the will, and Gooble had the way, so, with Chancellor Roberts at its reigns, Gooble did it; in one swift move, Gooble usurped the governments of the world, and placed itself on Earth's throne. Time passes, and soon Gooble controls everything, Gooble defines everything, and Gooble is everything.

Naturally, few people, including Gooble's own founders, are content with the new world order. Using knowledge and leadership provided by Phage and Lin, a small band of rebels form a resistance determined to remove their oppressors from power.

Now, in the year 2049, ordinary citizen Daniel Stephen witnesses the atrocities committed by Gooble's military arm, and finds himself suddenly torn from ordinary life and thrust into the midst of the rebellion. It is a chaotic war for freedom as the resistance emerges from dormancy and begins to take back Earth from Gooble's mighty grip.
