Thanks for this tip. I've made an apparently overly detailed model that wouldn't compile and I had no idea why. I tried using GUIStudioMDL and when I read the error message, I was able to find this article explaining why. Finally I know what was making the QC seem to run, but no MDL file ever be produced.
