Overview

<Half-Life 2> eXitium is a single-player Half-Life 2 modification created with the Valve Software's Source Engine. Born in 2006, this project takes place in the Engineering Faculty Annex of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), one of the biggest universities of Latin America.

The name of the project, eXitium, comes from the Latin word that means "ruins" or "destruction".

Features

  • Recreates the Engineering Faculty Annex in the U.N.A.M.'s University Citiy campus, that many students and other related people may recognize and enjoy playing in.
  • Includes a series of secrets that may activate or change some features of game, such as hidden levels or weaponry, giving the gamers community a reason to play it more than once.
  • Incorporates a completely new pack of real high definition textures, as well as an interesting managing of VFTs and VMT parameters to give very realistic mapping effects.
